Zeta's Log Monday 17/09/12Today in class we did some painting where we tried out various techniques such as splattering the paint across the surface we were painting on, adding sand to the paint and diluting it. We used different surfaces to paint on such as blue suede, leather and plastic which created some interesting effects.
We then gave titles to our samples. It was amazing how the addition of a few words changed the interpretation completely. Rob painted a penguin. X3
We then looked at various famous painters such as Chuck Close, Bridget Riley and Francis Bacon.
That afternoon we learned about the composition of a good photo and the rule of thirds which shows
Zeta's Log Wednesday 12/09/12Today our first class was pottery. We learnt how to wedge the clay to remove the air from it before moulding it into a pinch pot and coil bowl. Hopefully we'll soon get to fire and glaze them. I'm going to use the pot as a cup and the bowl as a cereal bowl. Super fun!! :D
For lunch we went to the canteen. The food there is gorgeous. I will never get tired of saying that. Unfortunately I didn't get to see Chris today which was a bit of a shame. Had loads of fun talking to my class mates though. I already feel so at home in the group.

So, some of you have been wondering how nightmarens would react to ipods and other audio devices. Well, Puffy seems to like it. Not sure about Jackle though. Poor guy!
